Spohn + Burkhardt North America to Debut New SV1C Premium Control Station at MINExpo 2024

Spohn + Burkhardt North America is proud to announce the debut of the SV1C Premium control station at MINExpo 2024. These control stations, now available for the first time to the North American market, are designed to set a new standard in mining, crane and industrial applications, offering enhanced ergonomics, reliability, and customization options.

Building on the original SV1C control station design, the SV1C Premium features a sleek and robust construction engineered to meet the demands of modern mining equipment, such as draglines. Available in multiple sizes, the consoles boast forward and inward sloping operating surfaces, providing an intuitive operating experience and ample space for the installation of control devices. The new design ensures that all devices can be optimally arranged within the operator’s reach and field of vision, enhancing both safety and efficiency.

Comfort and operator productivity are at the core of the SV1C Premium design. The control stations offer a variety of adjustment possibilities, allowing operators to find the perfect balance between sitting and operating positions. This promotes relaxed, fatigue-free work, which is essential for maintaining productivity over long shifts. The high-quality comfort seats are adjustable in multiple dimensions—longitudinally and in height relative to the side consoles—to accommodate operators of all body sizes. Standard lumbar support further enhances comfort, making the SV1C Premium an ideal choice for demanding environments.

As with all Spohn + Burkhardt control stations, the SV1C Premium models are fully customizable to meet the individual requirements of specific machinery and the preferences of machine operators. A wide range of options is available, including different seat models, suspension types, system rotation, footrests, joysticks, control devices, and monitors.

Looking to the future, Spohn + Burkhardt is committed to continued innovation. The company is currently developing an advanced version of the SV1C control station that will include smart technology with phone app integration and motorized adjustability, slated for release in 2025.

In addition to the SV1C Premium, Spohn + Burkhardt offers the broadest range of control station models on the market, featuring varying levels of adjustability and console styles. These options enable seamless integration into virtually any machine application, making Spohn + Burkhardt the go-to provider for complete integrated solutions. Alongside control stations, the company also manufactures industrial joysticks and operator cabins for mining, cranes and industrial machinery, further solidifying its position as a leader in control technology.

Attendees of MINExpo 2024 are invited to visit Spohn + Burkhardt at booth #2175 in the North Hall to see the new SV1C Premium control station in action and to learn more about how Spohn’s innovative control technology can optimize operations and boost productivity at mine sites.
