Joysticks for ships and dredging
All of our joysticks for the maritime sector, such as the ST1 and NS0-SFA, are made of salt water resistant material to withstand your operations. Focused on your requirements, we offer a wide variety of options with digital directional contacts, pushbutton in the handle and more. You decide how the controller should look and which functions it has.
Upon request, we can equip them with CAN, CANopen, PROFIBUS, PROFINET or PROFIsafe.

On Deck Controllers
On deck control stations designed to withstand the elements
On icebreakers at sea in the Actic Ocean, under the searing sun of the Persian Gulf or in the middle of a winter storm in the Atlantic – Spohn + Burkhardt on deck control stations are used for everything fromocean navigation to inland waterway navigation. For example, when controlling an anchor winch, you must be able to count on fault-free use.
Our compact and robust housings withstands all weather influences and temperatures. They consist of a saltwater-proof cast aluminum alloy, and condensation can be eliminated with a heating system. On request, we can also apply a powder coating or a wet spray finish in up to 7 layers.
Winch controls can be installed on one or both sides and we integrate your choice of control devices to meet your application. We ensure custom configuration of all functions. Various display instruments give you feedback, such as pressure and output. We can also supply on deck control stations with bus systems such as CAN J1939 or CANopen, PROFIBUS, PROFINET or PROFIsafe.
We manufacture on deck control stations with or without a round flange pillar, depending on your application conditions. All on deck control station pillars have a high IP protection rating and are also available in EExd versions.
